Jesus initiated His public ministry in the months preceding the first Passover mentioned in the Gospel of John.
1. Baptism
The public ministry begins with His baptism in the Jordan River (Matthew 3:13-17).
2. Temptation
He was led into the desert to be tempted, then also to the temple in Jerusalem (Matthew 4:1-11).
3. Calling of First Disciples
He called the first disciples (John 1:35-51).
4. Water to Wine
His first miracle was changing the water to wine at the wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11).
