A key theme in Hosea is God's gracious love toward unfaithful Israel.
What is the meaning of "grace"?
Some define it as "undeserved favor" or "unmerited favor." In other words, grace is God's loving attitude that leads Him to give us good things that we don't deserve.
In the book of Hosea, the prophet marries a prostitute and gives her all the benefits of being his wife. This is to show the nation of Israel how God shows grace to them.
