INSTRUCTIONS FOR LESSON 4: THE COVENANT OF GRACE


Preparation

Goals and Objectives

GOALS

In this lesson, we would like to accomplish the following:

1. We hope you will make use of all the resources and activities of the lesson to understand the meaning, characteristics, and stages of the covenant of grace

2. We hope you will gain a greater sense of joy and thankfulness for God's gracious and merciful plan of redemption in Christ.

3. We hope you make some changes in your life as a response to the teachings of this lesson, especially that you trust in Christ alone for your salvation, that you are grateful to God for your salvation, and that you share your faith with others.

OBJECTIVES

When you have done the following, it will show that the goals are met:

1. Obtain satisfactory grades on the tests, demonstrating that you can identify the meaning of the eternal counsel, the importance of God's providence, the elements of the covenant of grace, and the unique nature of each stage of administration of the covenant of grace throughout Bible history.

2. Answer the application questions in the study guides, expressing your faith in Christ alone for your salvation, your gratitude to God for salvation, and ways in which you share the gospel with others.
