INSTRUCTIONS FOR LESSON 3: PAUL AND THE EPHESIANS


Preparation

Goals and Objectives

GOALS

We would like to accomplish the following in this lesson:

1. We hope you will use the resources and activities of this course to understand the background, the key subjects, and the major theological issues that Paul deals with in his letter to the Ephesians.

2. We hope that you will deepen your commitment to establishing the kingdom of God.

3. We hope that you will apply key teachings from Ephesians to your own life, using your gifts to establish the kingdom of God and trusting Christ to give you victory in the struggle with sin.

OBJECTIVES

When you do the following, it will show that the goals are met:

1. Obtain satisfactory grades on the tests, demonstrating that you can identify key information related to the background, the key subjects, and the major theological issues that Paul deals with in his letter to the Ephesians.

2. Answer the application questions in the study guides, expressing your attitude regarding the kingdom of God, and showing that you are using your gifts to establish the kingdom of God and that you are trusting Christ to give you victory in the struggle with sin.
