INSTRUCTIONS FOR LESSON 3: PARADISE LOST AND FOUND
Preparation

GOALS
In this lesson, we would like to accomplish the following:
1. We hope you will make use of all the resources and activities of the lesson to understand the meaning and the important lessons of Genesis 2:4-3:34.
2. We hope you will develop a strong desire to heal the results of the Fall.
3. We hope you make some changes in your life as a response to the teachings of this lesson, learning to resist temptation and sin, and learning to resolve the conflicts that resulted from the Fall.
OBJECTIVES
When you have done the following, it will show that the goals are met:
1. Obtain satisfactory grades on the tests, demonstrating that you can identify the literary structure of Genesis 2:4-3:34, the changes that occurred after the Fall, the probable geographical location of the Garden of Eden, and the practical significance of this account for Israel as they prepared to enter the Promised Land.
2. Answer the application questions in the study guides, showing how you are resisting temptation and sin and learning to resolve the conflicts that resulted from the Fall.
