Sometimes it can be difficult to find your way around in the prophetical books. When you need to look up a passage during a sermon or Bible study, it is embarrassing if you can't find it. In this lesson, we will help you memorize the names of the prophetical books in their biblical order.

We begin with the easiest, the "major prophets". They have this name simply because they are longer. They are, in order:

1. Isaiah
2. Jeremiah
3. Ezekiel
4. Daniel

Memorize these names. It may help you to notice that the first two have the same ending "...iah," and the last two have the ending "...iel." The first two are in alphabetical order (I-J), and the last two are in reverse alphabetical order (E-D).
