My point was, with my spergy tendencies it has taken me a very long time to realize that most folks (and certainly most women) care about feelings more than facts. At this point I now understand it, but still struggle with caring enough to change my behaviors for the benefit of others. To this day I have to mentally stop and remind myself that if/when my wife is emotional, I can’t expect her to be at all rational and doing so will result in frustration and hurt feelings. And the only folks that get my effort in this arena are friends and family. The rest of the world will just have to deal.
