INSTRUCTIONS FOR LESSON 3: THE DIVERSITY OF THE TRINITY
Preparation

GOALS
We would like to accomplish the following in this lesson:
1. We hope you will understand the relationships between the Father and Son, Father and Spirit, and Son and Spirit.
2. We hope you will be able to articulate with clarity the differing roles among the persons of the Trinity and see the difference between the economic and ontological Trinity.
2. We hope that you will apply the teachings of this lesson to your own life, experiencing greater joy in your walk with each person of the Trinity.
OBJECTIVES
When you do the following, it will show that the goals are met:
1. Obtain satisfactory grades on the tests, demonstrating that you can identify the reason Christians affirm the authority the Father has over the Son and Spirit, the eternality of the Son, and the manner in which the Holy Spirit relates to them both.
2. Answer the application questions in the study guides, showing how you are experiencing greater joy in your walk with each person of the Trinity.
