INSTRUCTIONS FOR LESSON 2: How God is Different


Preparation

GOALS

In this lesson, we would like to accomplish the following:

1. We hope you will make use of all the resources and activities of the lesson to understand the key incommunicable attributes of God.

2. We hope you will grow in your admiration of God for the ways in which He is different and superior to man.

3. We hope you make some changes in your life as a response to the teachings of this lesson, especially in your worship and prayer life.

OBJECTIVES

When you have done the following, it will show that the goals are met:

1. Obtain satisfactory grades on the tests, demonstrating that you can identify the meaning of key incommunicable attributes of God such as His omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence, aseity, sovereignty, eternity, and infinity, and that you understand how attributes such as His wisdom, holiness, justice, goodness and truth are different from man's similar attributes.

2. Answer the application questions in the study guides, in which you show how you are applying the teachings of the lesson to your own life, especially how they affect your worship and prayer.

REVIEW

1. Review all the study guides of the lesson, preparing for the test on the whole lesson.
