Options for Academic Credit

Users wishing to receive academic credit for these courses now have a number of options:

Thirdmill Seminary – Thirdmill Seminary strengthens servants of Jesus Christ in their ability to interpret the scriptures faithfully in their ancient contexts so they can teach them effectively in their mission contexts by providing affordable access to a multilingual, globally resourced and distributed, theological education in partnership with their local pastors and mentors. Este programa de certificación también está disponible en español.

Birmingham Theological Seminary (BTS) – Those users who reside outside the United States may apply to the free Certificate in Christian Ministry program offered by BTS. Students enrolled in this free program will only receive credit for courses taken through the BTS free Certificate in Christian Ministry website. Este programa de certificación también está disponible en español.

Knox Theological Seminary – Those wishing to pursue a Master’s degree through an ATS accredited U.S. seminary in the future may wish to consider Knox Theological Seminary. Students who have completed course work here at elearning.thirdmill.org and who have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, will be given advanced consideration for admissions towards a future program, preference for need-based financial aid, and may receive credit towards that future degree on a case-by-case basis. For more information, contact Knox at smanor@knoxseminary.edu.

City Vision University – Students completing courses with Thirdmill can receive transfer credit to City Vision University to complete their Associates or Bachelors in Christian Ministry, Missions, Nonprofit Management, Business or Addiction Studies or their MBA. Students completing at least 4 courses at elearning.thirdmill.org are eligible to receive a major discount with City Vision, so that tuition will be only $3,500/year undergraduate or $4,000/year graduate.
