The kingdom of God didn't stop expanding at the end of the Book of Acts. All of subsequent history reveals how God has continued to build His Church and guide the movement of history to accomplish His purposes. This course provides a panoramic view of the history of the Church, focusing on the Early Church (from the first century to Augustine in the fifth century) and on the Middle Ages in Europe. The most significant characters and themes will be highlighted.
