Epoch

When speaking of biblical history, this is a period of time established by divine revelation that distinguishes it from other periods of time. 


Euangelion

Greek word (transliteration) for "good news"

Gospel

The good news of victory for the kingdom of God.


Greek

Language in which the Old Testament was available for the New Testament writers (as well as in Hebrew).

Inauguration

Term used for the period of the kingdom of God when the Messiah comes to initiate it


Inspiration

Theological term that refers to the fact that God guided the human authors of the Scriptures to write exactly what He wanted them to write.

Justification

Theological term that means we are "in Christ" by faith, that Christ's righteousness in put on our account and we are judged to have passed the test of loyalty.

Kingdom of God

God’s rule over God's people in God's place

Mechanical

When speaking of views of inspiration, this is the view that proposes that the Holy Spirit essentially dictated the Bible, and human writers passively recorded what he said.


Moses

Man with whom God made the covenant of law
