Preparation

In preparation for this lesson, read through Psalm 104. Write down some of your reactions to this psalm. What is the psalmist saying about God's relationship with his creation? How does the psalmist see the Holy Spirit involved in that work?

Goals and Objectives of Lesson 2

GOALS

In this lesson, we would like to accomplish the following:

1. We hope you will come to a fuller understanding of the role of the Holy Spirit in creation, having a better appreciation for the way the Holy Spirit is seen creating throughout the scripture.

2. We hope you will come to a fuller appreciation of the Holy Spirit's providential work and his revelatory work.

3. We hope you will recognize the Holy Spirit's work to promote common grace, both in your own life and in the world around you.

OBJECTIVES

When you have done the following, it will show that the goals are met:

1. Obtain satisfactory grades on the automatically graded activities of the lesson, demonstrating that you can identify the various sources for the Holy Spirit's work of revelation.

2. Complete the study guide application questions associated with the lesson, in which you express how the lesson has changed your thinking and your attitude toward the Holy Spirit's work in the world at-large.
